Our internet is down, except for a really slow connection we can pick up. There was a huge storm and I think lightning struck something here on campus. I will update as soon as we get an internet connection again!

First Steps!!!!

Silas took his first steps today! He took about 10 steps before losing his balance... and then he did it again and again. We are so excited. Watch the video to see!

Second Hair Cut... First Word?!

We gave Silas a hair cut a couple days after we got home from vacation. It turned out a little shorter than I thought it would but isn't he cute?Is that Silas on his TUMMY???

We made a ball pit out of Silas' pool, he loved it! I think he looks so much like my dad "Grandpa Dan" in this picture.Swimming with Isaiah. Silas was a little bit of a bully and almost pulled Isaiah over, haha.A little blurry but so cute!Silas was invited to his first birthday party. It was at a gym where they had tons of BALLS.... some where even bigger than Silas, he had a blast.
He even sat away from me to listen to a story with puppets, this was huge!

Silas has been putting things into containers and taking them out a lot lately. He also just recently learned to stack blocks on top of eachother to make a little tower. Today he tried to stack two balls... it didn't work so well.

This toy bin does not provide much support, leading Paul and I to think Silas can stand without support. But he doesn't think so (he thinks he is holding onto the edge of the table, haha)...

Part Four: Boyd Lodge

We spent the last week of our trip at Boyd Lodge in northern MN with Paul's family. Silas loved all the swimming and trying to keep up with his older second cousins, Luke and Annie. We had a great time being with family and miss everyone!
