Well, we are in the middle of the week that my family goes on the annual vacation to
Boyd Lodge in Northern Minnesota, or as the locals say, Up North. (Note: in Wisconsin it is pronounced "Up Nort'.") It is always an incredibly fun time filled with lots of swimming, fishing, turtle racing, volleyballing, teasing
Phil about girlfriends and just general relaxing.
We were not able to make it this year. Needless to say, Jess and I are really wishing we could be there. Colorado is great, but we also miss the Midwest quite a lot. Besides our family and friends, here are two things in particular that we miss about MN/WI:
