We recently went back to Wisconsin to celebrate my grandparents 50th wedding anniversary. We had a wonderful time. While we were there we were able to see a lot of family and a couple friends.Silas on the airplane... he did great! He slept for at least part of each trip which helped a lot. He had a great time emptying out the pocket on the seat in front of us.
Happy 1st Birthday Silas! We celebrated with family. Silas got to eat his first piece of cake... he loved it (of course) and hasn't been too crazy about veggies since.

We were able to visit my my friend Jaclyn who I hadn't seen in years. It was so nice to see her again.

Since our trip, Silas has been obsessed with dogs so for his birthday we let him pick out a stuffed dog. He loves it! We are trying to get him attached to it and it seems it may not be too difficult. He sleeps with it, carries it around, and chews on its tail!

hey guys! i hope that you are all three doing very well. i just thought i'd drop by and say hi. oh, and tell you that i had a dream where paul and i were going somewhere in a car. i think that jess was somewhere in the dream, like at the beginning before we said goodbye or something. i don't know where paul and i were going, or even coming from, but we were just chillin', enjoying a nice ride. it made me miss hanging out with you two. if only i could just bang on a wall, or walk 15 feet from one door to another, just to see you (imagine sweet and soft acoustic guitar being played in the background for ambiance). anyhow, hope to hear from you soon.
